I'm Dr. Savjani! Your "Whole Health Allergist"

A board certified allergist and immunologist based in Houston, Texas. I care for both children and adults with food allergies, asthma, eczema, environmental allergies, sinus disease, chronic hives, immune system concerns, and related conditions.

My mission is to make allergy and immunology easier to understand in a world filled with misinformation, unnecessary fear, and confusing health advice. I believe patients deserve clear, evidence based guidance that is practical, personalized, and rooted in real science.

I am especially passionate about food allergy prevention, oral immunotherapy, patient education, and helping people understand the difference between true allergies and non allergic symptoms.

Beyond traditional allergy care, I also have a strong interest in nutrition, prevention, food, lifestyle medicine, and overall health. My hope is for this website to become a trusted educational resource where patients can continue learning both during and between visits.

ABOUT ME

I have lived in many different places throughout my life and have had the opportunity to connect with people from a wide variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Those experiences deeply shaped the way I practice medicine and strengthened my belief that healthcare must be individualized, practical, compassionate, and accessible.

I was drawn to medicine because I loved science, communication, problem solving, and helping people feel more empowered in understanding their bodies and health. Allergy and immunology became the perfect fit because it combines all of those elements while also allowing me to educate patients in a meaningful and lasting way.

While my specialty training is in allergy and immunology, my interests extend beyond traditional allergy care into nutrition, prevention, immune health, food, and lifestyle medicine. I am especially passionate about helping patients distinguish evidence based medicine from the overwhelming amount of misinformation that exists online today.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, friends/family, traveling, cooking and experimenting and coming up with new recipes, biking, hiking.
